Head of English and Maths
Responsibilities
Support the Assistant Principal to drive the English and Maths strategy and provide curriculum teams with specialist guidance on curriculum design, qualification selection and programme suitability to ensure the provision meets the needs of learners and apprentices.
Work closely with the Head of Quality, data team and Curriculum Managers to ensure that the management and ongoing improvement of the delivery of English and Maths leads to better outcomes, ensuring performance meets or exceeds national performance benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of curriculum management experience.
- A teaching qualification would be an advantage or a commitment to undertake one within the first year of employment is essential.
