About the School

A welcoming and friendly one‑form entry primary school in Putney seeks a dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis from September. The role is initially for one academic year, with the potential to extend beyond this for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Full classroom responsibilities including planning, assessment, and reporting
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Support pupils’ academic and personal development
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Ideal Candidate

• Hold QTS and have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 6)
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be organised, proactive, and committed to pupil progress
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
