Job Overview

Service Driver – Permanent, Full Time.

Salary: £34,936.20 per annum (average 50 hours per week).

Location: Bedford, MK45.

Working Days: Monday to Friday.

Standard Hours: 07:30 – 16:30. Overtime beyond 45 hours paid at 1.5x rate (average earning £40,758.90 per annum).

Responsibilities

• Deliver toilets to customers and collect toilets at the end of the hire.
• Carry out regular servicing and cleaning of the toilets.
• Support planned delivery/collection/service routes to achieve optimum fuel consumption and efficient driver time.
• Drive company vehicles safely, courteously, and responsibly, complying with driving hours regulations and company policies.
• Operate lifting equipment safely in accordance with safety directives and method statements.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C1+E driving licence.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Good geographical knowledge of local and surrounding areas.
• Customer-focused experience and expertise.
• Strong physical health, able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexible approach to work, including reasonable overtime.
• Adherence to all health and safety practices.
