HGV Class 2 RORO/SKIP

HGV Class2 Driver Roro/Skip Required.

Solvit Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food recycling company based in Leicester for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Roro/Skip Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. There is plenty of training and for the right applicant you may be upskilled to HGV Class 1.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will hold a HGV Class 2 licence and have experience operating RORO (roll‑on/roll‑off) and skip vehicles.

You will start Monday to Friday training for a couple of weeks.

Then you will have your shift pattern of 4 off, 4 on.

Start times from 06:00, 12‑hour shifts.

Pay Rates:

• £15.00 during training.
• After training, you will be paid £17.89 per hour.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a minimum of 1 year experience.
• Experience with skip and RO/RO operations.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, oral and written.
• Complete all paperwork.
• CPC and Tacho compliance.
• No DR, DD, TT or IN10.
