Description
Full‑time, 37 hours per week, fixed‑term 1‑year or 2‑year contract. Play a critical role as a Job Coach supporting people with barriers to employment such as neuro‑divergent individuals, people with learning disabilities, ex‑offenders and others. Work with employers to diversify their workforce and explore alternative recruitment methods. Provide post‑placement support, training and induction to help clients learn their roles.
Location and Hours
Hybrid: office based at Wellington Street and remote home. Minimum two days in office each week. Monday to Friday, with flexibility for evenings, nights and weekends as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Engage with adults and employers, building relationships and exploring opportunities.
- Conduct vocational profiles, develop action plans and help clients apply for and prepare for interviews.
- Support clients post‑placement through training, induction, skill development and work‑experience opportunities.
- Record progress accurately for DWP and other stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, deliver presentations and support promotion of the service at job fairs.
What You’ll Need
- Experience supporting people with barriers to work and engaging employers.
- Strong communication skills across diverse audiences and methods.
- Organised, time‑management and prioritisation abilities.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in record keeping.
- Subject to DBS check.

Contract and Salary
Full‑time, 37 hours per week, fixed‑term 1‑year (or 2‑year). Salary: £35,412 to £38,220 per year; total benefit value roughly £52,115.
