StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing trunking work based in Northampton. We’re looking for day drivers, with regular weekly block bookings available and consistent work on offer. This is a well‑run operation with a modern fleet, friendly transport team, and secure on‑site parking.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- Days (Mon‑Fri): £18.29ph plus holiday pay, or £20.49ph including holiday pay
- Saturdays: £19.63ph plus holiday pay, or £21.99ph including holiday pay
- Sundays: £21.41ph plus holiday pay, or £23.99ph including holiday pay
What the role involves
You’ll be completing trunks, curtainside using a modern, well‑maintained fleet. Shifts are typically 10‑12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed per shift, giving you consistency and reliable earnings week to week.
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 2 years
- Has a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes)
