Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Futures is a recruitment business in Horsforth, North Leeds, expanding rapidly, with over twenty years of trading and a double digit year‑on‑year growth rate.

We are looking for Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join our team. Consultants are encouraged to make recommendations for investment to grow their own desks.

Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day activities include:

• Client research
• Administrative tasks (initially)
• Responding to clients
• Arranging visits
• Interviewing candidates
• Exploring client and candidate needs to win new business and present the right person for each role

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous experience in a sales‑based role (doesn’t need to be recruitment)
• Good standard of English and maths
• Good organisational and time‑management skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communicator
• Professional business‑like manner
• Confident and friendly with a desire to help
• Good team player
• Knowledge of IT and Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good communication skills, previous experience in sales, and genuine enjoyment of talking to people
