Primary HLTA Needed
TeacherActive are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a welcoming primary school setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils learning, deliver interventions and occasionally lead whole-class teaching across the primary age range. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic HLTA looking to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment.
The role will include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
- Delivering small group interventions and booster sessions
- Leading whole-class lessons in the teacher’s absence
- Supporting pupils with varying abilities and needs
- Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management
- Helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate will have:
- HLTA status or relevant qualifications/experience
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A flexible, proactive and positive approach
- A passion for supporting children’s education and development
