Teaching Assistant – Additional Learning Needs (Cardiff)

Following a very successful year working with Further Education provisions across South Wales, Vetro Education are now looking for a large number of specialist Teaching Assistants in the Cardiff area who specialise in working with pupils aged 16 years plus who have Additional Learning Needs.

Vetro Education are working with a variety of Further Education provisions who require Teaching Assistants who can work with the following needs: autism, visual impairment, hearing impairment, dyslexia, medical conditions as well as general support. Teaching Assistants may be booked on block/long‑term or casual schedules (flexible hours available).

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months experience of working with children in an SEND environment – specifically ASD, visual impairment, hearing impairment, dyslexia, medical conditions.
• Fully enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) – ability to obtain a new one.
• References covering the last three years (no gaps).
• EWC registration (School support worker).
• Right to work in the UK.
