HGV Driver – Class 1 Tipper

Class 1 Tipper Driver | Avonmouth | Ongoing Work | £17.50-£19.61 per Hour

Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) Tipper Drivers to support a busy construction materials operation based in Avonmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent work with a well-established and growing business.

The Role:

• Operate a Class 1 Tipper Vehicle safely and efficiently
• Deliver aggregates, concrete products, and construction materials to customers and construction sites
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and transport regulations
• Communicate professionally with customers, site personnel, and transport teams
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable
• Work as part of a busy transport operation serving the South West region

Pay & Benefits:

• £17.50 – £19.61 per hour (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)
• Weekly PAYE pay
• Ongoing work with regular hours

What You’ll Need:

• Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards
• Previous tipper driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of site safety and construction environments
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
• Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads effectively

Preferred:

• MPQC card advantageous but not essential
• Experience delivering aggregates, concrete, or construction materials
