We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Tipper Driver to operate an 8-wheel tipper vehicle from our client’s site based in Northwich, Cheshire.
This is a temporary ongoing position offering regular work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role after a successful 12-week period.
The Role
As a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for delivering aggregates to construction and building sites throughout the North West and West Midlands regions.
Duties include:
- Operating an 8-wheel tipper vehicle safely and professionally.
- Delivering aggregates to construction and building sites.
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurate.
- Adhering to driver hours, road transport legislation, and health and safety procedures.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
- A valid Driver CPC Card
- A valid Digital Tacho Card
- Previous tipper driving experience is desirable.
- A professional and reliable approach to work.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations.
