Class 2 Mixer Driver – Tewkesbury

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Mixer Driver to join our team based in Tewkesbury.

The Role

As a Class 2 Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to customer sites across the local region. You will provide excellent customer service while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 6:30am
• Occasional Saturdays available during busy periods
• Full-time, ongoing work

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete to commercial and residential sites
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects
• Operate the mixer vehicle safely and efficiently
• Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Adhere to all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety regulations

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous mixer driving experience is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided
• Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitudeStrong communication skills

• Pay rate of £17.00 per hour (includinc holiday pay) with time and a half for Saturdays (as an when required).
