Job Summary
Samuel Ryder Academy is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide Vision Impairment Support in the secondary phase of the school. The role involves supporting a student with severe vision impairment who uses Braille as the primary mode of access, providing direct support and modifying curriculum resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a student with severe vision impairment and provide direct assistance and curriculum modifications.
- Assist in delivering the national curriculum in an inclusive educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience supporting children and young people with diverse learning needs.
- Desirable experience in supporting delivery of the national curriculum.
