Role Overview

We are looking for compassionate, experienced, resilient individuals to support adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, including people with complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, person‑centred support to help individuals build safer, more independent and fulfilling lives.
- Use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches, follow support plans and encourage community participation.
- Support people with daily living tasks, personal care and developing independence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Experience working with complex behaviour or high support needs.
- The ability to stay calm, patient and empathetic in challenging situations.
- Commitment to person‑centred support and PBS approaches.
- Full UK Driving Licence (desirable).
- Minimum of 12 months on your right to work is required.
- Full‑time, part‑time, waking nights and bank positions available.

About the Service
Oldland Common is a newly built service with six self‑contained homes for adults with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities and mental health needs. Our aim is to help people move on from hospital settings, settle into the community, build independence and live meaningful lives.
