Permanent, Part Time 14.5 hours per week; Fixed Term until 28 th June 2027, Full Time

We are looking to recruit two Family Support Workers within Bristol East Central Area Office in St Pauls.

The role involves supporting a team of social workers and support staff in working with vulnerable children and families.

You will need to have experience in working with children and families and an understanding of the role statutory Children’s Services play in their lives.

We have a diverse population and families with a variety of backgrounds and history. Therefore, an understanding of equity and the importance of recognising diversity is essential.

You will need good communication skills, a capacity to work as a committed team member as well as proven ability to be organised, flexible and able to work under pressure.

You will need to be confident in talking to children and young people and working in partnership with families and multiagency partners.

An understanding of the vulnerabilities faced by families who experience poor mental health, addiction and domestic abuse is also necessary.
