Packaging Plant Operative – Ketton CementSalary up to £53,861 rotative shifts 4 on 4 off with an 18 day break
Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment where your contribution really matters?
Responsibilities
- Operate packing dock equipment to meet planned output volumes safely, on time, and in full.
- Carry out front‑line maintenance within your area of training and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Assist with the loading of finished products and the unloading of incoming materials required for plant operations, including dispatch silos.
- Work alternative shift patterns in line with the national agreement and provide support across other areas of the plant when needed.
Requirements
- A solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities related to the role.
- A positive attitude toward learning and development to support all packing dock activities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Education & Qualifications
- A good understanding of cement production processes.
