Commercial Trainee – Contracting

What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete a Level 4 commercial qualification through a structured apprenticeship
- Learn how to price and generate customer quotations using internal systems
- Support in converting quotations into contracts
- Build strong customer relationships and resolve queries professionally
- Gain a broad understanding of Tarmac’s products and services
- Work collaboratively across commercial and quantity surveying teams
- Take part in role rotations to build wider business knowledge
- Represent Tarmac in customer interactions and industry events
- Contribute to team targets and customer service excellence
What We’re Looking For
Desirable
- A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good communication and relationship‑building abilities
- Confidence working with a range of stakeholders
- Strong IT and literacy skills
- A proactive mindset with problem‑solving ability
- A positive, team‑focused approach
Essential
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above preferred)
