Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant – Temp to Perm

Up to £25k to £31k Salary available
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Bexhill. This full-time role will begin on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract after a successful 12‑week period.
This position would suit an experienced Early Years practitioner who is passionate about providing high‑quality care and education for young children.
The Role
- Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children’s progress.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitoring and recording children’s development and achievements.
- Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.
We Are Looking For
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
- Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, nurturing, and professional approach.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
