Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Science ECTs for exciting opportunities within secondary schools across Southport, Crosby and Liverpool. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry or Physics, we are working with schools looking for talented Early Career Teachers ready to inspire the next generation of scientists.

Responsibilities

As a Science ECT, you will teach engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, investigation and achievement.

Qualifications

• Be completing a PGCE or teacher training programme leading to QTS
• Have strong subject knowledge within Science
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
• Be passionate about student progress and achievement
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science, or be due to achieve QTS by September 2026
• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• A full career history
• At least two professional references, including your most recent placement
• The legal right to work in the UK
