Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging IT and Computing lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach a range of topics, including digital literacy, programming, and computer science fundamentals
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Contribute to departmental development and whole-school initiatives
- Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree or specialism in IT, Computing, or a related subject
- Experience teaching IT/Computing at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong subject knowledge, including programming and digital systems
- Effective classroom management and organisational skills
- A commitment to pupil progress and high educational standards
- The ability to commute to or be based in Trafford, Manchester
