In line with the Technical Instructor job description, the postholder will organise and deliver specialist technical instruction and training, provide expert advice and guidance, support users in resolving technical issues, liaise with software suppliers and contribute to the ongoing development of innovative technical solutions.

- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for students, staff and placement providers.
- Delivering training sessions, demonstrations and user guidance for a wide range of stakeholders.
- Acting as the primary point of contact with the external software supplier and coordinating system improvements.

- Supporting the introduction of new functionality and promoting best practice across the School.
- Working independently to plan, prioritise and deliver a specialist technical service.
About You

- An understanding of HTML and web‑based technologies, with the ability to create and modify online content.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience of delivering training, demonstrations or technical instruction to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
- Experience of working within higher education, healthcare education, learning technology or a related technical environment would be advantageous.
