Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant (KS2)

The governorsand headteacher are looking to appoint a strong and committed TeachingAssistant to work in a KS2 class. This position is initially temporary for one budgetconstraints, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent based on futureschool budgets.

We welcome applications from Level 1, Level2, or experienced TAs, and the final role layout (full or part-time) will bebased on the strengths and experience of the successful candidate.

Thesuccessful applicant will be:

• An excellent practitioner: Passionate about children’slearning, progress, and well-being, with high expectations of self andothers.
• Knowledgeable and flexible: Possessing excellent knowledge ofthe KS2 curriculum, with the ability to secure successful learning forchildren with a wide range of needs.
• A skilled communicator: Able to use their own initiative,demonstrate patience and resilience, and build positive relationships withchildren, staff, and parents.
• A team player: Ready to work flexibly andresponsively as part of a committed, inclusive staff team.
• Experienced in SEND support: Having experience delivering interventionincluding phonics—preferably using the Little Wandle scheme—tosupport group interventions.
