Year 5 teacher

Smile Education is recruiting for a Primary teacher to work in a 2‑form entry primary school in the Worcester area. The role would be working at a school with a tight knit staff team and strong SLT support.

The Primary teacher role would be long term, full time with full teaching responsibilities starting from April with the potential of becoming a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver captivating lessons to students in KS2 in line with the curriculum
• Focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking
• Assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurture a love for learning
• Be able to structure lesson plans for different levels of student needs

Qualifications

• Teaching certification or QTS
• Proficiency in the primary curriculum and effective instructional techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel
• Have experience working in primary schools
