Property Surveyor

Job Overview

In this field‑based role you will visit both new and existing customers in Southampton and the surrounding areas to survey their properties and provide solutions to property preservation issues. Daily travel is required, so comfort with mobility is essential. Excellent customer service is integral to success and will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers to assess property conditions and recommend preservation solutions.

• Communicate findings and solutions clearly to customers.

• Maintain accurate records of visits, assessments, and recommendations.

• Build and sustain positive relationships with clients, following up as needed.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Relevant experience in construction, building maintenance or preservation is advantageous but not essential.
• Self‑motivated and target‑driven.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.
• Background in sales is advantageous as face‑to‑face customer interaction is regular.
• May be required to pass a DBS check, depending on the role applied for.
