TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Bradford that provides dedicated SEND support for pupils with additional learning needs. The school promotes an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The school is looking to appoint a SEND Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will support Key Stage 1 pupils with a range of additional needs, working closely with class teachers to deliver tailored support, promote engagement and encourage positive learning outcomes.
Key Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting
- A good understanding of Autism / ASD, ADHD or other additional learning needs
- Experience working with Key Stage 1 pupils
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
