Overview
As a Drivers Mate in Spennymoor, you will support a driver in delivering white goods to residential customers. This full‑time contract role with Rapier Employment requires a 30‑minute commute and involves weekend work. Start times are 07:30am with planned 10‑hour shifts.
The position is physically demanding, requiring you to handle appliances and provide professional, friendly customer service. A DBS check will be obtained before you begin work.
Typical rates are £12.81 per hour with overtime available, and you will be paid weekly.
ROLE INFORMATION
Every shift consists of escorting a driver and delivering white goods to customers at their homes. The role operates 7 days a week and requires weekend coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- PPE, Safety Boots/Footwear, High‑Visibility clothing
- Can‑do attitude and flexibility to cover sickness and holidays
- Ability to work independently and maintain customer engagement
