We’re expanding our team in St Albansand have three opportunitiesfor skilled installers to join one of the UK’s leading intelligent traffic solutions providers.
At SWARCO, you’ll work on a variety of projects that keep people and communities moving safely every day. From installing new traffic signals and pedestrian crossings to upgrading intelligent transport systems, no two days are the same.

What you’ll be doing
- Installing and commissioning traffic signals and urban traffic technology.
- Delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
- Managing your own work on site and ensuring a professional handover to customers.
- Working closely with project teams to identify and report any changes to project scope.
- Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality.
- Representing SWARCO professionally on customer sites.

Profile
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a great job and always puts safety first.
You’ll ideally have:
- Sector 8 Accreditation (including NRSWA, G39 and ECS).
- Experience working on traffic signal installations or similar electrical infrastructure.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- A good understanding of traffic signal installations and equipment.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
