The Role
As an RE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students engage with topics such as world religions, ethics, philosophy, and moral issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching RE across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering engaging lessons on religion, ethics, and contemporary moral issues
- Encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and debate
- Supporting students with assessments and exam preparation
- Planning differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Collaborating with colleagues across the humanities department

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching RE at KS3 and/or KS4
- Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education and ethics
- Confident classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for RE education and student engagement
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
