OA are recruiting for an HGV Driver to join a well‑established and respected building materials supplier.

Location: Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead
Hours: 44.75 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays. Standard working hours are 6:45am – 4:15pm. Any additional weekday hours worked above the standard day are returned as Time Off in Lieu (TOIL), subject to management approval and business requirements.
Salary: £40,000 per annum

HGV Driver Key Responsibilities
- Deliver building materials to trade and commercial customers across the local region
- Load, transport and unload products safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally on‑site
- Adhere to all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures
- Support the wider team with additional duties as required when not undertaking deliveries
HGV Driver Skills and Experience
- Valid HGV licence (Class 2 preferred)
- Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience delivering building materials or similar products is advantageous
- Good understanding of driver regulations and vehicle safety requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skillsReliable, professional and safety‑conscious approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
