Responsibilities
Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. As a Casual Bar Person, you’ll prepare and serve drinks while spreading warmth and hospitality, delivering memorable experiences for every guest.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Delight guests by bringing an upbeat and friendly attitude to all interactions and proactively looking for ways to enhance their experience.
- Prepare and serve beverages: mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction.
- Maintain bar operations: stock and organize bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables, for seamless service.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately using the point‑of‑sale system for cash, credit/debit, gift certificates, and vouchers.
- Monitor product quality: manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of all beverage‑related items.
- Address guest concerns professionally, including managing situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect to ensure a safe environment.
- Comply with regulatory standards: maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well‑being.
