Class 2 Driver – Aberdeen

Class 2 Removals Driver is required to transport household goods to one or two locations per day. This is a highly physical, hands‑on role where driving a class 2 vehicle, while the remainder involves heavy lifting, packing and wrapping of fragile items preparing for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and navigate a Class 2 HGV to and from domestic and commercial job sites, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Physically lift, carry, and load heavy furniture or bulky goods in and out of the vehicle.
• Assist with wrapping, packing, and boxing fragile or household items.
• Dismantle and reassemble beds, wardrobes, and other large furniture items on-site.
• Perform daily walk‑around checks, secure loads safely, complete paperwork, and strictly follow driver tachograph rules.
• Act as the face of the company, communicating arrival times and handling client concerns politely and professionally.

Essential Requirements

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• High level of physical fitness and stamina to endure heavy manual handling over long shifts.
• Previous experience in the removals, logistics, or delivery sector is highly advantageous.
