31.65 hours per week (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only); Permanent contract.
Grade 3 – Point 5 to 6 *Pay award pending*
Salary £25,583 – £25,989 (pro rata). Actual Salary £18,739 – £19,037.
Starting 1st September 2026.
Role Overview
We are seeking to appoint a reliable and student‑friendly Teaching Assistant to support our SEND department in providing one‑to‑one support to students with EHCPs.
Responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support to students with Education Health Care Plans.
- Support and assist the SEND department as required.
- Maintain a patient and caring manner in supporting students with additional needs.
- Follow relevant health and safety requirements and safeguarding protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of working within a school setting is desirable.
- Training will be provided, but relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to converse at ease with children and provide support in accurate spoken English.
