TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming primary SEND school in Stechford that supports children with Autism / ASD. The school provides a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally through tailored learning and specialist support.
The successful Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant will work closely with pupils across the primary age range, supporting their learning, communication and emotional development while promoting independence both inside and outside the classroom.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD, ideally within a primary or SEND setting
- A good understanding of strategies to support pupils with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, patient and caring approach
- A willingness to get stuck in and support the wider school community
