What’s involved?

• Operating a variety of tanker units, carrying out a range of services associated with the tankers, and ensuring cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers’ drains while delivering an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
• Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains.
• Operation of high‑pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
• Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
• Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps.
• Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided.

What do we look for?

• Experience in tanker jetting is essential.
• Clean HGV license.
• Confined space experience preferable.
• High‑pressure water jetting experience.
• CSCS preferable.
• Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude and willingness to work additional hours as needed.
• Want to be part of an exciting, growing and progressive business with an increasingly formidable brand presence.
• Willingness to work occasional/unsociable hours.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Candidates are asked to consider their home location as the tankers are garaged at Wigan and you will need to consider any travel to and from this site in your decision.
