Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a specialist secondary school in Totton that supports pupils with a range of complex learning difficulties, autism, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and medical needs.

The Role
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, healthcare professionals, and families.
- Develop and implement individual learning plans tailored to pupils’ needs.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and communication development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working within SEN settings, particularly with pupils with autism, PMLD, severe learning difficulties (SLD), or complex needs.
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching.
