Parts Apprentice (Recruiting for September 2026 start date)
Location: Stratstone Mercedes, Wakefield.

As a Parts Apprentice, you’ll combine hands‑on experience in our dealerships with structured training and the support of an experienced mentor. You’ll work towards achieving a Level 2 Retailer qualification, setting you up to become a fully qualified Parts Advisor.
Training will include:
- 18 months total – 4 separate visits, each for 4 nights, plus 2 online 1‑week training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Learning and assisting with stock control, including preparing orders, organising deliveries, and working with online parts systems.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, both in person and over the phone.
- Developing a strong knowledge of motor vehicles through full‑time mentoring from a qualified Parts Advisor.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across other departments to ensure a seamless experience for every customer.
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
- A willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Grade C or Grade 4 in English and Maths.
