BENDI / PIVOT STEER Forklift Truck Operator
Our client is currently seeking a reliable and experienced “Bendi truck” / “pivot steer” forklift truck operator to join their team at a busy warehouse in Tameside.
Pay rate: up to £19.15 per hour.
Full‑time position (night shift) in Dukinfield, Sunday to Thursday, £19.15 per hour.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid, in‑date UK “Bendi truck” / “pivot steer” forklift licence from an external FLT training company, and have at least one year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
In this role you will:
- Load and unload items from vehicles
- Move items within the warehouse
- Organise and stack items on pallets
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed
- Clean and maintain the forklift truck and other equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve warehouse targets
- Experience as a team leader would be an advantage
This is a temporary position, but for the right candidate, there is a possibility of a permanent contract. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, punctual, and has a positive attitude towards work. You will need to be physically fit, able to work in a fast‑paced environment, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
