Teaching Assistant

• NJC Point 4 – 6
• £13,266 to £13,689 actual per annum
• Term time only (39 weeks per year), 22.66 hours per week
• Permanent contract commencing As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning by establishing supportive relationships with students.
• Help raise students’ self‑esteem and develop a positive attitude to learning.
• Support students in the classroom to ensure progress academically, socially and emotionally.
• Use own initiative to support students and contribute to a vibrant, dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications

• Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Previous experience in a similar educational role desirable but not essential.
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, patient, and able to work independently.
