Are you mechanically minded, keen to learn, and excited by cutting edge manufacturing technology? This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated trainee to build a long‑term career as a Robot Welder Operator, working with advanced automated welding systems in a busy engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities (Training Provided)

• Loading and adjusting welding programs
• Positioning fixtures and setting tooling
• Ensuring correct parameters before production runs
• Observing robot movements and arc stability
• Checking weld bead appearance and identifying anomalies in real time
• Ensuring all finished parts meet engineering drawings and specifications
• Addressing issues such as wire feed interruptions or gas flow problems
• Cleaning welding equipment and robot torches
• Replacing consumables (nozzles, liners, contact tips)
• Completing daily safety and equipment checks

What We’re Looking For

• A mechanical or engineering qualification, or hands on welding experience
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Basic knowledge of MIG or TIG welding (advantageous but not essential – training will be provided)
• A practical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, problem‑solve, and work in a fast‑paced production setting
