Part Time One to One Teaching Assistant

Salary: £14.25 – £15.50 per hour
Role Overview
The school is looking to appoint a Part Time One to One Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil on a part‑time basis, with hours gradually increasing to full time for the right candidate. The successful candidate will provide tailored support, help manage challenging behaviour, encourage engagement with learning, and build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support to a Year 2 pupil.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting.
- Experience supporting children on a one‑to‑one basis.
- Proven experience managing challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A patient, calm, and resilient approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing.
