Class 2 Delivery Driver
Peterborough | Monday to Friday | Day Shifts Only | £15ph
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 Delivery Driver to join a well-established and successful family-owned business based in Peterborough.
With a proud history spanning three generations, our client has grown into a leading supplier of fats & oils, frozen foods, ambient foods, and fish products to the Fish & Chip, Fast Food, Catering, and Bakery sectors.

The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering frozen and ambient products to customers across a variety of routes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to customers across designated routes.
- Unloading and storing products within customer premises as required.
- Collecting returned goods where necessary.
- Completing all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
- Handling customer payments when required.Delivering excellent customer service and building positive customer relationships.
- Providing route cover across the operation as required.
- Supporting warehouse and oil room activities during periods when driving duties are not required.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and compliance at all times.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday.
- Start times between 04:00 and 07:00.
- Finish times dependent on workload.
- 48 hours per week.
- Day shifts only.
Hourly Pay Rate
- Day Rate is £15ph.
