About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team on Days, at Berkeley Lodge Nursing Home, in Worthing. Reporting to the nurse in charge and ultimately the Home Manager, this role involves leading a busy, enthusiastic care team carrying out clinical care, assessments and documentation.
Hourly Rates
Weekdays £14.06 – Weekends £15.47
Hours
36 hrs – including every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the allocation of carers
- Dispensing medication
- Support new members of staff
- Provide high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents
- Promote independence and enablement and provide support to residents where necessary
- Develop relationships with relatives to help understand their needs and support their personal care
About You
- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or working towards it
- Kind and caring with a positive approach
- Energetic and hard‑working
- Passionate about offering superior services and making a difference
