Leakage Technician

Description
We have 2 roles covering North & South Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve DMA exit levels
- Interact with UU and dig team agents
- Have a good understanding of reading a DMA map
- Interact with customer and explaining any procedures needed to complete work on private land
- Maintain good timekeeping and housekeeping of tools and equipment
- Use GARD (smartphone system) to deliver all feedback for commercial and, where necessary, reinstatement feedback
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in leakage detection and competency in conventional sounding
- Leak noise correlation
- Ground microphone
- Cat and generator
- Customer liaison
- A valid EUSR water hygiene certificate and unit 2 sign, lighting and guarding accreditation will also be an advantage
