Apprentice – People Services (Occupational Health and Wellbeing)
Location: Carmarthen, Headquarters. Department: People & Organisational Development. Role type: Police Staff. Grade: Apprenticeship. Contract: Fixed term, 24 months. Part/Full Time: Full Time.
Apprenticeship Programme
Our apprenticeship scheme runs for 24 months and includes studying a level 2 or 3 qualification relevant to the role.
Responsibilities
As an apprentice you will carry out or be working towards performing the main duties and responsibilities shown below:
- Maintain records on the electronic People Management System by updating records electronically and, if required, scanning and uploading documents.
- Assist Admin Support Officers with administrative duties associated with Occupational Health Clinics and collection of data metrics.
- Act as a point of contact for any queries into the department.
- Provide support and resilience within the department when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Age 16 or older.
- Positive and passionate about a career in public service.
- Evidence of GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent level 2 qualification).
- Successful candidates will be subject to vetting and medical checks.

Apprentice hourly rate in Year 1 is £8; in Year 2 the rate will be the national minimum wage based on age. Other benefits include:
