HGV Driver – Class 1

HGV Driver Class 1 – Full time or part time. Pay £16.85 to £22.00 per hour. Start times 6–7am. Inter‑depot trunking shifts. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence
• Current CPC card and digital tachograph card
• Fewer than 9 points on licence
• Reliable, punctual and vehicle‑maintenance focused

Responsibilities

• Trunking from depot to depot, pick‑ups and collections, delivery of goods to commercial warehouses
• Daily walk‑round and vehicle checks, reporting any damage or defects
• Correct use of tachograph and compliant driving hours

What to Expect

• Monday‑Friday pay £16.85 PAYE per hour (high‑pay advanced)
• Weekend enhancements available
• Weekly pay, paid on time every time
• 8‑hour minimum shift guaranteed pay per day
• Subsidised ongoing CPC training

Location

Client based in Leyland and Preston area. Commutable from Blackpool, Fleetwood, Garstang, Southport, Chorley, Leyland, Bamber Bridge and surrounding areas.
