Job Summary
Temporary post until 31/08/27. Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Grade 6) to work in our EYFS setting. Required to start 1st September 26. This role supports the learning of pupils in KS1.
Key Responsibilities
- Join a team committed to achieving the school’s vision and values.
- Have recent experience working in a KS1/EYFS setting.
- Possess strong knowledge of the national curriculum to ensure good practice.
- Have additional SEN training and experience supporting and adapting learning for children with SEND.
- Work closely with the KS1 team, following direct instruction from the class teacher and collaborating with other staff.
- Exhibit high empathy, care and strong professional relationships with parents, carers, colleagues and professionals.
- Show hard work, initiative and willingness to follow school policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Level 2 teaching assistant qualification.
- Experience in KS1/EYFS setting.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum, phonics and SEND provision.
- Experience of supporting children with SEND.
Hours
27.5 hrs per week during term time only.
