Job Overview
Teacher of Physics (Full or Part–Time considered) – starting January 2027 or earlier. Teach Physics within the Science Department to students aged 13+ across GCSE, Pre, A level, IB Diploma and University Foundation programmes. Small class sizes, inclusive environment and co curricular activities.
Teachers will be involved in super curricular activities such as Medics Preparation, Science Society and Sport Science Research.
Person Specification
- Subject specialism in Physics with a degree in a related discipline.
- Critical understanding of developments in the relevant subject and curriculum areas.
- Enthusiasm to identify and embrace extra and co curricular opportunities to enrich the student experience.
- Ability to promote high standards of literacy and articulacy in the English language.
- Responsive teaching strategies that incorporate high quality feedback and a focus on literacy.
- Proven record of excellent, reflective, and inspiring classroom practice.
- Interest in, and knowledge of, national and international current affairs related to the Science disciplines.
- Commitment to ensuring students have an enriched, holistic boarding school experience.
This role would be suitable for experienced teachers although applications from ambitious new professionals will be welcomed and considered.
