Looking for a Class 2 role that offers an immediate start, consistent hours, overtime rates, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position?
We’re recruiting multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste collection team with inductions available immediately.
You’ll be driving a refuse collection vehicle alongside a team of loaders, completing planned collection routes across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
This role offers regular weekday work, enhanced overtime rates, and a genuine temp to perm opportunity with a well-established employer.
Duration: This is a temp to perm position.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: First 12 weeks £14.50 per hour for the first 8 hours. £21.75 per hour after 8 hours and for Saturday hours. After 12 weeks £14.92 per hour or the first 8 hours £22.38 per hour after 8 hours and for Saturday hours.
There is also 28 days holiday per year (pro rata) in this position. Please note we do not accept visa sponsorships.
Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday with 05:30am starts and a typical finish time of around 02:00pm. Overtime is regularly available on Saturdays for those looking to boost their earnings.
Experience & Qualifications
- A full UK driving licence
- A HGV Class C entitlement
- A valid CPC card
- At least 12 months commercial driving experience.
