Salary: Grade 4 Point 5 to Point 6 £25,583 to £25,989 per annum pro rata £13.26 to £13.47 per hour

Powys County Council currently applies a discretionary real living wage supplement to all employees earning less than £13.45 per hour.
TEACHING ASSISTANT – Five days a week Monday – Friday (Equivalent to twenty‑five hours per week) (Primary) Level 2. 25 hours Permanent Contract (to begin week commencing 1st September 2026).
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with pupils throughout the School.
We are looking for an inspirational, creative and outstanding Teaching Assistant who:
- is hardworking, flexible and able to make an active contribution to the life of the school.
- has high expectations of both learning and behaviour.
- must be able to work across all year groups.
Registration with the EWC is essential for the post.
The successful candidate would start on the week beginning 1st September 2026 and work 25 hours a week (term time only on a fixed term contract).
