Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for an SEN Nurture Teacher to join Tipton Green School in Dudley DY4. Role will involve teaching children with SEN needs at Secondary level from a Nurture perspective,

Tipton Green is a specialist college providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Based in Tipton, the college meets the diverse needs of pupils aged 11-19 with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Our broad but balanced curriculum is specifically designed to meet the unique learning styles and needs of each student. With bespoke learning plans and a supportive therapeutic environment, we’re committed to ensuring every child receives the support they require to succeed.

  • QTS or QTLS Qualification
  • Have proven teaching and learning experience
  • Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
  • Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standard.
  • Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
  • Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
